My personal mantra is “a day without learning something new is a wasted day.”  Why not take advantage of one of our learning events to continue your education in engineering simulation!

This week our listing of ANSYS webinars, seminars and events include three webinars, four trade shows across the U.S. where you can meet with ANSYS experts. Or attend a full day seminar on electromechanics if you’re in Germany.

First up, on Tuesday, September 25th is Reducing Turnaround Time for In-Cylinder CFD Model Preparation. Engine CFD simulations are quite challenging in nature. One of the most important challenges is to create a CFD model ready for simulation. Because of the relatively moving components like piston and valves, the CFD model has to accommodate moving and deforming meshes. Analysts find it difficult to prepare a CFD model as the underlying pre-processing efforts are not just significant but also difficult to develop expertise on.

ANSYS has developed a customized Workbench-based Analysis System (ICE system) to prepare CFD models for in-cylinder simulations. This system reduces the turnaround time for in-cylinder CFD model preparation to less than a couple of hours. This webinar will focus on demonstrating this new IC system, its scope, how it can be used and the new planned features in this system in the future versions

Below is a full list of all events this week. Why not register right now!
