Customization of Processes for Structural Mechanics

Tuesday, January 29, 2013
4:00 P.M. EST, 9:00 P.M. GMT (REGISTER)

Thursday, January 31, 2013
9:00 A.M. EST, 2:00 P.M. GMT (REGISTER)

While ANSYS Workbench provides a number of standard tools for structural mechanics simulations, many users have developed practices which requires customization of the user interface. Whether you want to add taylored loads and boundary conditions, specific post-processing procedures, reuse existing APDL scripts in a user friendly way or even integrate some in-house codes, the Application Customization Toolkit (ACT) will help you achieve these goals.

Ask the Expert – Tools for Efficiently Managing ANSYS Mechanical 14.5 Models

Wednesday, January 30, 2013
3:00 A.M. EST, 8:00 A.M. GMT (REGISTER)

ANSYS Mechanical has a user-friendly GUI for managing all aspects of mechanical simulation (e.g., importing CAD models, applying boundary conditions, solving, post-processing results, etc.). However, as the need for simulating larger, more complex models continues to grow, more efficient ways to manage these models is warranted. Mechanical 14.5 contains several new interface management tools (e.g., tags, tree filtering, connection matrix, and object generator). One set of these tools enable users to more effectively search the GUI and identify items to be displayed or hidden in the Outline Tree. Another set of tools provide the user with more robust control of geometry entities for such actions as duplicating, scoping, and grouping.

NOTE: If you miss any of these events, you can visit our Resource Library a few days after the scheduled webinar to watch to a recording.
