About Bernard Dion

Bernard Dion is the Chief Technical Officer of the Systems Business Unit of ANSYS that is developing the SCADE and Simplorer families of products. His duties include business development, product management and certification. He was actively involved in the SC 205/WG 71 committee, serving as the Secretary of the SG3 Tool Qualification Subgroup. He co-founded Esterel Technologies in 2000, which was acquired by ANSYS in 2012. Bernard holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Lyon, a M.Sc. and Ph. D. in Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
